Take a look at these mouthwatering club sandwiches from Daniel Boulud's Florida restaurant. A club sandwich isn't usually the first thing we think to make or order off a menu, but a well-made sandwich can be surprisingly fresh and delicious in spring. It's easy, with few ingredients, and yet so rewarding.

Each of these three sandwiches offer a more sophisticated take on the club sandwich formula: delicate white bread, toasted, with the crusts cut off, and a perfectly arranged strata of fillings. The Double Pork Club, for instance, calls for coleslaw (the recipe is included), ham and pork. The Chicken Proven├žal Club calls for harissa, tapenade, chicken, and arugula. Yum.
