As much as we love the functionality of our dark spice drawer, we are wondering if we would be more apt to use our spices in a timely way if they were out in the open, like in this gorgeous reclaimed-wood spice rack.
As much as we like keeping our spices away from light and heat, we miss the organization and easy finding of having the spices stored out in a row right in front of us. So we're really liking this beautiful rustic spice rack, made with reclaimed wood. It would be great to store so many things, too — teas, small canisters, even little cups or glasses.

You can do that yourself easily for a third the price. Just go to any antique store and search through the random section that always has old shipping and grocery story shipping pallets.
Then simply drill a small hole through the side and run a wooden dowel through. Cap the ends with butterfly nuts (if you can find them big enough) or something else that would prevent it from feeding back through drilled holes.
I want to make one of these to go between the above and the below corner cabinets in my kitchen that I have between my sink and my stove. I spend 90 percent of my time in the kitchen in that one spot! I have my spices in one
cabinet to the left of the stove, but they are stacked one on top of the other! This spice shelf would do wonders for my spices!!
