Fall has been freakishly warm in my part of the world, rendering hot apple cider and squash soup irrelevant for the time being. I've been making up for my lack of seasonal indulgences with a new treat — a pop that's orange enough for fall, and healthy enough for every day, with a dash of sweet potatoes to feel of the moment. Sweet potatoes in a frozen treat? Oh, yes!

These are just one flavor in a lineup of fruit and vegetable pops from Ruby Rocket's. Packaged with a charming retro feel, they include other flavors, such as Galaxy Green (kiwifruit, spinach, and avocado), Meteorite Mango (mango, pineapple, and butternut squash), and Gravity Grape (Concord grapes, purple potatoes, and blueberries).

At just 30 calories each and about 4 grams of sugar, they're a sweet and refreshing afternoon treat for these all-too-warm fall days.
