If the future has pancake-making robots in store, we can't wait! The robotics company RoboHow has been developing a line of robots that can use the Internet — specifically sites like wikiHow — to learn how to do simple tasks.
Combined with some human instruction to teach the robots how to do things, like hold a spatula or measure from a bottle, the robots use step-by-step instructions from the websites to learn new tasks.
The most impressive (and potentially terrifying) aspect is that once one of the RoboHow robots learns a skill like making pancakes, the knowledge can be uploaded and any of the RoboHow robots will be able to complete the same task.
We have to admit, we wouldn't be sad to wake up to pancakes and coffee already made for us every Saturday morning.
