When your kitchen is in an open loft, lighting becomes a key part of the design. RJ and Francis live in a rented loft in Downtown Los Angeles, and their one-wall kitchen opens up into the living/dining space. A striking globe chandelier over a long, dark wood table separates the space, and creates a stunning, sparkling visual distraction.
The rest of the kitchen matches the couple's "modern, pop and industrial" style. Black plays a dominant role as seen in the countertop, the pots and pans, and the dining room table, offset against white dishes and the light wood-colored cabinets. The only color in the space is a bright red pantry cabinet!
