Taking photos of your food in restaurants has become so commonplace, restaurants are now trying to make it easier for patrons who Instagram their meals before eating.
Chili's Grill & Bar is one of the restaurants making these changes.
They are revamping the way they plate some of their top-selling menu items to make them more photogenic. But that's not the only thing they are doing.
On some of the dishes, including their signature burgers, Chili's is using a special egg wash on the buns to give them an "Instagrammable sheen" according to the AP. And phot0-ready food isn't cheap; the egg wash alone will cost $750,000 per year. We wonder if this is coming out of the marketing budget?
