I cook for just myself quite often. I'm working from home these days and make lunch for one on a daily basis, which means using this pan just about that frequently:
You see, I hate heating up too-large cookware only to make something small. This little 9" french skillet by All-Clad is just the right size for those who often cook for just one.
While my husband and I make meals together using a variety of cookware that we both love, this little guy is my constant companion when the meal is just for me. I can't tell you how many omelettes (my go-to for lunching alone) this skillet has seen me through. In fact, it sees so much use that it's never put away. Instead, it lives on the stovetop. Which is perfectly fine by me since most All-Clad cookware is as beautiful as it is useful.

Red-and-Pink-Stripe...

I have the 7 1/2" French Skillet and it is my favourite pan. I probably wouldn't have it, except for the luck of walking by Williams-Sonoma one spring day and spotting a display of them for $29.99 Cdn. It was the best deal, ever, for my kitchen.
this is my favorite, too.
The link is to the 7 1/2" skillet, whereas the title and description say the pan in question is the 9" one.
How do you clean this pan? I have one and it seems like there is some sort of gunk stuck in all the crevises. I tried Bar Keepers and regular soap but nothing helps!
absolutely love mine too!
@ MLH22, when needed, I used baking soda on the pan. If even that doesn't work, i.e. gunk where the handle attaches to the pan, I use Comet.
