Red, white & blue — flag cakes with lines of blueberries and strawberries will adorn picnic tables all over the nation this weekend. As much as we love this classic Independence Day dessert, we were also in search of other, more creative ideas. ooh i just made some checkerboard cookies! used beet juice for the red. blue not invited!
All of them looks so great! Especially frozen popsickles...since it is like 100 degrees outside!
I always like to do red, white and blue triffle for the 4th. It's easy and great for picnics.
Buy or make and angel food cake. Cube it. That's layer 1.
Mix 2/3 of a tub of cool whip with two cups vanilla pudding. Layer 2.
Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries are layer 3.
Just keep layering until you run out. Top with the rest of the cool whip and a few berries.
OH my gosh, those ice cream sundaes from Bake at 350 are WONDERFUL!!!
