For those of you who like warm colors in a cozy and nurturing kitchen, this is a particularly warm combo that's inspired by the autumn season. Let's take a look at the orange and red color combo:
Red or orange alone are warm enough, but combine the two and you get the design equivalent of a pot of chili perpetually simmering on the back burner.
What do you think of this super-warm color combo? Too much? Or is it just right (especially as we head into cooler weather and turn to our kitchens for comfort)?

I love it. Not a fan of blue (maybe because I tend to feel cold all the time?), big fan of red. My rental has maple cabinets, which are a light, warm tan color, and a red rug. I'm saving for a Dutch oven and a new tea kettle--they will surely be yellow! (I want those flowers on the counter, too!)
The dining alcove is straight out of the seventies, complete with pedestal table and graphic black-and-white fabric. Not really my cup of tea, but I like the color-block effect of the walls and cabinets in the rest of the kitchen.
Don't the yellow flowers just give the finishing touch!? Love them.
I love this. It is so welcoming.
