In Week Three of the Kitchen Cure, part of your assignment was to do something beautiful for your kitchen. Here's a shot of our dining table over the weekend—not exactly the kitchen, but close. And it uses those recycled soda bottles we've been talking about...
This was the table setting for a casual dinner party, and it was so cheap! The Boylan Black Cherry bottles were $3.50 for a 4-pack (bonus: we got to enjoy the actual soda first), and the ranunculus were $5 for a small bunch.
Just one of these propped up in the corner of your kitchen would brighten up the space. But four lined up across our dining table made a statement with very little money and effort. We just love the look of these old-fashioned bottles. They're so perfect for a single stem.
Ours have now moved to various spots around the apartment; one in the kitchen, one in the bathroom, two in the living room...
What are you doing to beautify your kitchen?
