TW Salt Mill by Wil...

I made some delicous cinnamon ice cream from The Perfect Scoop over the Christmas holidays. That has probably been the 4th or 5th recipe that I've made from that particular cookbook and David Leibovitz has never let me down.
I want to make whatever is underneath the ice cream in that picture! What is that?
It's this plum crumble - amaaaaayyyzing. Recipe of the year for me!
Plums are out of season, but it's also really good with apple and quince.
I prefer richly flavored vanilla ice cream melting over warm boysenberry cobbler. Oh, my, hog heaven.
I made plum cobbler last Sunday with fresh frozen plums from out tree (last fall was plum heaven!) Topped with ice cream from the Full Tilt Ice Cream store (within walking distance.) Dangerous. Lucky Seattle had a bright blue sky on Sunday.
