Green garlic, which is beginning to appear in farmers' markets around the country, is the first garlic of the season, nice and mild, and versatile in the kitchen.
We didn't get to her question in time, but it seems she did just fine without out. Here's her recipe for Spring Green Tart, based on the Swiss Chard Tart from Suzanne Goin's Sunday Suppers at Lucques.
