- What makes your small kitchen so cool?
- This small kitchen solution makes cooking in a teeny tiny space possible and even enjoyable! Small upgrades made a big difference including: adding a compact dishwasher, butcher block countertop, cupboard for dishes, wine ledge, spice racks, and compact refrigerator/freezer big enough for ice-cream:) On a small budget, I used many Ikea solutions to create a home for every item I need for daily cooking.
- Describe a challenge you've overcome or a smart resource you've found for your kitchen.
- My entire studio is 287sq ft. As you can see, the original kitchen lacks a space to both prep food and store dishes. The butcher-block counter top and cabinet not only provide a practical solution for this small kitchen setback but also serve as a fashionable focal point in my studio. We even host dinner parties in our studio, up to six people!
- What's your favorite meal to cook here?
- I love roasting vegetables in the convection oven. A little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper and they are delicious every time. While the vegetables are in the oven, I sauté chicken, and prepare quinoa on the stove top to complete the meal!

Small Cool Kitchens
25 square feet...that is by far the smallest kitchen I've ever seen!
This has got to be the nicest small kitchen I have ever seen. Rebecca's kitchen is my favorite kitchen by far; she's got my vote!
Adorable couple! (Well, trio, counting the cute pooch). Great place!
Rebecca's kitchen certainly has my vote! WOW-25ft.
Patsy Ann
Fantastic use of space!
Very tasteful and I'm sure the food is tasty too! Only one thing missing from this picture...
Love it!
Many creative kitchens but hands down my vote is for Rebecca's use of space. Managing to create a functional cooking space in only 25 sq ft is amazing but to have such an appealing design concept is outstanding. Loved the photos...I feel inspired to make better use of the space in my own kitchen.
Amazing! What a miss match flair you have going on! Do you fit in your kitchen?
Well done, Rebecca. Did that handsome man and the cat come with the apartment?
Wow, seeing IS believing! Looks like something Martha Stewart would do. Love what you have done to your place. Super nice and very cozy to come home to. Definitely my vote is here!
Only 25 square feet? That's amazing. The details really make this space perfect!
Like the others I am very impressed with how you manage with such tiny kitchen (and host dinner party?!) and make it so attractive and cosy as well. I wonder where you are going to put all the kitchen tools you're going win :-P
Love it! So creative. Rebecca's got my vote!
I think your pictures detract from how pretty it is. Nice Kitchen though.
Super impressive! If there were a teeny tiny division, this would win!
Adorable kitchen Rebecca! You are amazing!!
It's hard to believe such a micro-kitchen could be so well-concieved, both in terms of its everyday function and aesthetics! Well done. Dinner parties for 6 out of a kitchen of this size is especially impressive.
p.s. My 10 year old wants to add her comment: SPECTACULAR and its a dog NOT a cat!
This is the smallest kitchen I have ever seen. The fact that you have managed to make the space work (and look great in the process!) is truly remarkable. Nice job!
