Ramen Noodles Continue World Domination, Take on the Hoagie Roll

Packaged ramen –– the food most associated with being poor in college — is creeping surely and steadily into other culinary creations. The ramen burger made its big entrance in Brooklyn in August last year, and since then other crazy creations like the ramen taco have also surfaced. The latest? Grub Street created the ramen hoagie roll. It just might be the best ramen mashup yet.

Out of all the weird ways to use ramen, this one actually makes the most sense to me. By using a baguette pan, Grub Street was able to get a similar shape to the hoagie roll. The ramen hoagie roll is toasted before you add your sandwich fillings. I think cheesesteak is a great fit — what about you?
