The more we start to rely on glassware in the kitchen, the more we find ourselves having to scub the stubborn stuck-on food stains from their corners.
But before you head to the store to buy a new scrubber or sponge, check the recycling bin first!
Our friends over at Real Simple had a great suggestion to a common problem. I've never been extra fond of those metal scrubber pads as food particles are always stuck up in their small holes. Instead try crumpling up a piece of used aluminum foil to scrub at the corners and stubborn spots where food insists on sticking. When all is said and done you can simply rinse it clean and toss is back in the bin where it belongs.

I didn't know people recycled aluminum foil. I can imagine setting it aside to be used again after cleaning, but what kind of recycling plan are we talking about?
I would imagine you want to be careful what you use that on. Seems like it would scratch the heck out of some things.
