Starbucks is celebrating the Pumpkin Spice Latte's 13th birthday by adding something special to its menu for a limited time. Starting today (October 6) through October 10, Starbucks will be offering pumpkin spice whipped cream to the menu. It will only be available in participating stores in the U.S. and Canada.
The glorious whipped cream will automatically be added to any Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino that is ordered, but you can also add it to other drinks upon request. According to the press release, the pumpkin spice whipped cream is made with real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and ginger.
Honestly, it's pretty surprising that pumpkin spice whipped cream isn't always on the fall menu at Starbucks. It seems like such a natural addition to the popular beverage. I bet the whipped cream would be really good on their hot chocolate or a mocha. I mean, how decadent does that sound?
