We are absolute suckers for pretty bottles and jars. Whether we're they're being used to chill tap water or hold our collection of dried beans, we love seeing and handling the ones we have every day. We recently discovered the online store Specialty Bottle and are having a hard time holding back!
All these bottles can be ordered individually or (*gulp!*) in cases! We've been thinking about making some homemade liqueurs for holiday presents this year, and you can bet we'll be ordering from this site.
Here are few of our favorites from the site:
• Cubica Swing-Top Bottle, $2.49 - Perfect for storing simple syrup or homemade sauces.
• Tall Straight Jar, $0.90 - These skinny jars would be great for storing dry goods and maximizing pantry space.
• Dessert Clear Glass Bottle, $2.45 - Here's the one we'd get for homemade liqueurs and infused oils!
• Flat Top Glass Candle Jar, $2.20 - We'd love one of these for storing granola on our counter top.
• Multifaceted Glass Jar, $0.56 - No idea what we'd do with this tiny little 1.5 ounce jar, but we want a few just in case!

I love specialty bottle! This past Christmas I made homemade vanilla extract for all the women in my family. I ordered the 4 ounce glass amber Boston Round bottles from them. They worked out perfect. I just hand wrote some labels and tied a piece of festive ribbon around the top.
I have ordered several items from Specialty Bottle in the past few years. Great store!
I wish the company would state where the bottles were manufactured. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is cautious about buying food storage items from China these days.
I have been searching and searching for a good price on spice and extract bottles. The best deal I've seen online so far is from here:

This place is great if you need to buy a lot of bottles or jars. They sell most items in cases of 12.
STORAGE JARS! (Sorry.. I had to drop the obligitory Monty Python reference)
The tiny jars are perfect for spices. I attached magnets to the tops and stuck them to the fridge.
I need to double check but if I recall correctly - I ordered from Specialty Bottle a few months ago and I am really happy with their selection but what really irks me is their high shipping prices.
I came across Specialty Bottles when looking for watchmaker tins to organize assorted spices. They also have those "foaming" soap dispensers, which I've read can be used for culinary foams but haven't tried out yet. The watchmaker tins are great; they even have sets that come in a tin or a decorative cardboard box.
I recently re-organized my spice/sauce cabinet and used various bottle sizes from this company. Great to work with, and it makes me happy each time I open the cabinet door....
I get it. Really I do. But what about recycling the jars you're buying with food inside? There are plenty of time when that just won't do, yes, I know. But the glee that you all have in consumption is a little strange for this site.
