In 2007's "Waitress," Keri Russell's character Jenna is an unhappily married waitress who doesn't want no trouble and doesn't need no baby — she just wants to make pies.
Read on for a clip from this delightful (at times sad) movie, and recipes for some of Jenna's pies.
Jenna's refuge from her troubled relationship is making pies. As she says, she invents them in her head – recipes like 'I Hate My Husband' Pie, and (after meeting the sweet and funny Dr. Pomatter) 'I Can't Have No Affair Because It's Wrong and I Don't Want Earl to Kill Me' Pie.Strange as they may sound, Jenna's creations are actually quite tasty, and she's known by her fellow waitresses as a "pie genius." Ultimately, her pies help Jenna find happiness – although not necessarily in the way she expects.

That was a great movie.
This was a really good movie. I recommend it, but only if you have access to pie during the movie!!
I loved this movie! Thanks to Jenna I also try and come up with clever pie names for my family to enjoy!
I love and hate this movie: love the pies, hate the abuse she puts up with. Hate to think that there are probably a bunch of women out there just like her (maybe without the crazy/cool pie invention thingy).
Love this movie!
We actually started a Pie making Group because of this movie!
For anyone interested in joining us, head over to http://pieswiththat.blogspot.com - we just announced our theme for December, you'll love it!! Join us!
Thanks for the pie links! How can you not crave pie after watching this movie.
