Yes I have a picnic table for a dining table! Here is a pic from when we first moved in:

How do you get to the other side of the table in the second picture?

We used a beautiful mahogany picnic table for our breakfast table when I was a child. Fabulous for piling friends in for dinner and nicely visually minimizing when the benches were tucked in. My brother now has a lovely dining table with a bench on one side that I'm a big fan of.
