Sangria is one of my favorite things. It combines fruit, which is good, and wine, which I love, into something absolutely divine. And you don't even have to buy expensive wine. There are those who advocate using good wine for sangria, but I'm a firm believer in finding a great budget buy at the grocery store. Seeing that three-dollar wine transformed in something delicious and drinkable is nothing short of magical.
Here are a few sangrias that are perfect for fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and everything in between.
Sangria is typically thought of as a hot-weather drink, and when the cold sets in each year I miss it terribly. There's always mulled wine to look forward to (and I love mulled wine), but nothing can quite take the place of a tall glass of wine and fruit. That's why I've scoured The Kitchn (and the distant reaches of the internet!) to bring you these fall-appropriate sangrias. Now there's something to be thankful for.
