WOW!! These are fantastic. I found the best peaches at the Greenmarket in Abingdon Square here in NYC, and I now know what to do with all of them!! Thanks.
This season my favorites have been the white varieties! Though yellow peaches are definitely better for baking. Also, those cocktail recipes reminded me of a great breakfast refreshment, Bellinis! Prosecco (or any other white sparkling wine) peach nectar = summer indulgence!

I love peaches! The early Colorado peaches have just appeared at our markets and they're so delicious! Last summer I went a bit crazy and made pies, crumbles, cobblers and peach cupcakes which were amazing. The peach cupcakes came from Deb at the Smitten Kitchen blog.
This recipe for Old Fashioned Peach Johnnycake is incredible. I couldn't keep this cake around very long. It was so good. I'll be making it again soon.
