Patterned fabric is something we see on pillows in the living room, duvets in the bedroom, tablecloths in the dining room. In the kitchen, maybe it shows up on curtain panels from time to time. But these patterned fabric lampshades are a rare and special sight for the kitchen:
We're shocked at how such a small detail has such a large impact on each of these rooms. What an easy DIY, and what a simple way to add color and pattern to the kitchen!

Love the lamp shades with the other elements in the kitchen especially the window shade and wicker chairs.
Those are all so attractive! Love that look, nice find.
I think the pattern is beautiful but must ask a practical question: how do you clean fabric shades in a kitchen when over time, things will get greasy & dusty?
We have a couple of fabric shades from brightshininglight.com - they don't really get dirty but they are easily cleaned with a dab of soapy water.
