Although we mostly ate in restaurants, we did take a stroll through a few markets, and saw some pretty incredible food. The colors were stunning, and the array of vegetable, fish, meat, cheese, and bread was beyond mouth-watering. White asparagus worthy of a wedding bouquet... full-fat yogurt drinkable like ambrosia... Ingredients are always inspiring, all over the globe.

It was Friday and everyone from little old ladies with pushcarts, to spiffy businessmen with newspapers under their arms were lined up for fish. As we headed out to another meal out, I secretly wished someone were making us a home-cooked meal.
