Every winter I intend to make my own homemade limoncello, fragrant with fresh lemons, to be drunk icy-cold out of the freezer all summer long. And every winter, I forget. So I buy limoncello, and this Pallini stuff is the nicest I've had so far. Not as syrupy as Luxardo, it's fairly crisp and tastes like real lemons. It gets extra, extra cold in the freezer. Yummy stuff.

When I lived in Italy I used to sip on "Crema di Meloncello"- a creamy melon liqueur made along the Amalfi Coast. You might think it can't get any better than limoncello... you're wrong!
It is really really easy to make, you just have to give yourself the time for the lemon peel to soak.
Don't get the clue. Why not make it during the summer?
Or is the story only the hook for the product placement?
She probably wants to make it in the winter so it has time to 'rest' befor summer consumption. The homemade liqueur benefits greatly from a few months resting in a cupboard somewhere.
