Outdoor Details in the Kitchen

When I came across this image of a lantern hanging over a kitchen table I loved the fixture's look and scale. The lantern, which one might more likely find outdoors, looks oversized in this setting and lends a dramatic touch to the room. It made me want to hunt down more outdoor details in the kitchen:

Each of these kitchens has an easy, indoor-outdoor feel because of common exterior details used indoors. From lighting to furnishings, from finish materials to greenery, each of these is a great way to make your kitchen feel outdoorsy even in the depths of winter.
