Organic: What Does it Really Mean?

Tomorrow, Saturday November 5th, the Baum Forum is hosting a discussion and tasting tomorrow on the real meaning of organic, to be held at The Graduate Center at CUNY.

The panel will cover subjects such as the weakening of the USDA's regulations, recent controversies concerning organic dairy production and seafood labeling, and the emergence of local, sustainable farming as the new paradigm.

A tasting of local and organic foods coordinated by the Cleaver Company will follow the presentations.
