If you're working with a pre-existing recipe, try fiddling with the proportions of these ingredients. You can also try mixing by hand, which makes for a denser (and hence chewier) cookie. I just made these, and the little bit of peanut butter added little p.b. flavor, but made the cookies soft and chewy. We really like them!
