Roast chicken with fingerling potatos and carrots. Tomorrow night though...pork chops that we are getting from a local pig farm....
Lake Superior Whitefish poached in duck fat with herbs, salt-roasted fingerling potatoes, tartar sauce and frisee with bacon vinaigrette.
Venison tenderloin marinated in a sweet teriyaki-style sauce and wrapped in bacon. Cous-cous with cracked pepper and freshly shaved parmesan cheese.
we made beef chili last night- and my favorite thing about it is having chili-mac the next day. cheesy goodness!
Cream biscuits with fresh sage to be served with minestrone made over the weekend.
No plans for tonight - I made a big dinner last night and will likely just have leftovers ... or sandwiches with organic carrots in place of potato chips.
grilled tofu with sweet chili sauce, brown rice and roast kale
as an avid bacon eater, trust me, this is a whole lot better than it sounds.
Being the fitness resolution month of January, we are working on our waistlines and serving a modified recipe from Mireille Guiliano's 'French Women For All Seasons,' skate with capers.
But we'd be happy to toss those plans and eat with art tonight!
Comfort food: homemade chicken vegetable soup with dumplings.
flank-steck fajitas with peppers and onions. we just got a whole bunch of dried chiles, so i think we're going to try and making a spicy 3-chile paste for the meat.
cream biscuits with fresh sage sound *amazing*.
chicken thighs with some cajun-y spices, steamed brocolli w/ lemon juice, some sort of rice or maybe baked sweet potatoes slices.
that's my usual fare. i don't know how to cook anything else ahah.
Homemade palak paneer with some chapatis. (Actually, I made it last night so tonight's is just leftovers. But leftover palak paneer is better than the day it's made. Let's all those spices mingle and get all happy together. :) )
