This little nutmeg grinder wasn't actually a souvenir from a trip, but I did first see one in France and immediately knew I had to have one in my kitchen. My husband gave me one for the following birthday, and I've used it almost daily ever since. It might seem like a funny uni-tasker, but nutmeg goes into so many things. I especially like it for topping fresh pasta. There are cheaper nutmeg grinders out there, but I like this one's fat round body, and the easy-turning handle. Mine has a chrome bottom, but I really like the natural wood here too.
