I realize that Christmas is still two weeks away but I really want to make cookies now. Of course I have a dozen cookie recipes from my family but I want to do something a little different this year.
I've definitely never had Korean Flower Cookies or Crisp & Spicy Mayan Chocolate Cookies during the holidays but there's a first time for everything, right?
Sometimes tradition can be a bit boring, so why not spice things up a bit with these not so average cookies:
• Korean Flower Cookies, Honey and Butter
• Rosemary Cookies, Babble
• Crisp & Spicy Mayan Chocolate Cookies, Form V Artisan
• Lemon Poppyseed Cream Cheese Cookies, Heather's Dish
• Pistachio Orange Crescent Cookies, Good Life Eats

Beatiful!!!!
These cookies look so adorable...
Love the color, I am sure they taste divine.
Yum. I always make pebbernodders with cardamom and white pepper. Even those (which are basically just shortbread) are out there for some people.
I made lemon rosemary cookies this year and they are the best cookies I've ever tasted! I can't wait to make more!!
My grandmother always makes friend apricot balls that are really good, I think I'll post the recipe on my blog!
I meant dried apricot...sorry!
I've always liked the Chocolate Butterscotch Holiday Tree from http://ricekrispiesholiday.ca/whoami
