We see sink skirts all the time. They're a charming, easy, cottage-like way of hiding the pipes and storage under a sink without building a cabinet. But what about a skirt for an entire length of countertop?
That's what we see here. It's executed in linen and held up with ties along a bar that's mounted at the edge of the countertop. One more nice touch: the linen fabric is monogrammed! We could see doing this with old linen dish towels pieced together.

It's really pretty, but it seems a tad inconvenient. Would it be hard dealing with the long length of cloth when searching for something?
My gramma had curtains instead of cupboards. Pain in the butt! Everything get grimy and greasy without doors to keep it out.
Feels like a make-shift arrangement by a catering company to conseal the 'dirty inside'.
It's really pretty.
