We can get a sneak preview on the magazine's website (link below). Like his books and TV programs, Jamie Magazine looks like it follows Oliver's signature approachable style. The writing seems friendly and immediately accessible to both new and seasoned home cooks. The format integrates text with gorgeous color photos that show us how the finished dish should look along with the key steps needed to make it.
One thing we think this magazine has going for it is the breadth of topics. He includes a good chunk of recipes (over 100 of them, if we believe the cover!), as well as spotlights on local artisan products, a few restaurant profiles, and coverage of ethnic cuisines. There even seems to be a bit of travel writing thrown in the mix with a piece on Stockholm!
What do you think - is it worth seeking out a copy?
