Hey Westchester residents, if you can't make it to the farmer's market, we found a new way to bring the farmer's market to you.

Order online and MyPersonalFarmers.com will bring produce from New York's Hudson Valley to any home, office, or business in Westchester country on Friday or Saturday. Eleven farmer, butchers, and artisan producers provide foods including Blazing Tomato Chutney from Beth's Farm Kitchen, organic yogurt and cream from Evans Farmhouse Creamery, and Lenny's smoked trout.

"Our virtual farmers market—the first of its kind in the Hudson Valley—is created because so many people want to have a connection to fresh and local agriculture, but may not know where to find it on a regular basis or have the time to get it," says the site.

MyPersonalFarmers.com opened May 1. They been blogging about the experience of opening their new business. We're glad to see that this new service is positioned to bring new people into the eat local concept and it seems designed to augment (not replace!) the delicious experience of going to local markets and farmers and buying directly from the grower.

If you live in Westchester and would like to write a review of MyPersonalFarmer.com, please let us know. We first learned about this service through thestrongbuzz.com -- thanks, Andrea.
