Dansk Kobenstyle cookware is a darling of vintage cookware collectors. We love its mid-century styling and the practical enameled steel construction. (I have several vintage pieces that I use regularly!) So, last year, the big news at Housewares was that Dansk Kobenstyle was coming back, reissued and all new, but still in its classic form. We saw it up close this year, and really liked some of the new colors (teal, slate, stainless steel) and new pieces — hello adorable teacups!
Yes, we're suckers for the vintage style of Dansk Kobenstyle, and so these teacups really turned our heads. They're solid and just the right size. I kind of fell in love.
Another big introduction...
...stainless steel! These really gleamed -- and the midcentury handle style on the pots looked positively futuristic when done in this material.

All the classic colors are still there, too, like brown, white, blue, and red.
Are you a Dansk fan? Do you have any of the new reissued pieces?

Love Dansk -- miss their outlets. These look great -- totally LOVE the steel!
I only became familiar with Kobenstyle cookware recently, when I inherited my fiance's grandmother's collection. She had two rectangular baking pans, the classic casserole, and the paella dish in two sizes, all from the early 60s. The colors are gorgeous (turquoise, yellow, white, and cobalt) and the baking pans have quickly become favorites in my kitchen. Although she used them a lot, all the pieces are in remarkably good condition. I love them for their practicality and design, but also for their significance as family heirlooms. My fiance was very close to his grandparents, but I never got to know them well. Cooking with his grandmother's pans makes me feel connected to her in a small way.
I just saw these in Macys! Would love to get some.
I am a total fool for Dansk cookware (I've been tracking down the vintage pieces for years) and am VERY excited by the reissue of the turquoise color and the version made in stainless steel. I cannot wait to see them in person!
these are killing me with how cool they are! gonna have to check them out in person, so pretty!
Don't think I've ever seen Dansk before, but I definitely dig the style!
I grew up with a few of these saucepans and they are amazing.
Where are these manufactured?
I am so freaking excited! I have a lot of old Kobenstyle cookware that I use daily, but some is red and some is yellow. I've been fantasizing about buying all the white I can on eBay but it gets really pricey - so now - this! Oh my! Do I still want white, or do I want the chrome? So happy you posted this!
