Last year KitchenAid went hot pink with Raspberry Ice, and it looks like they're staying bold and bright with the addition of Crystal Blue, a vibrant lagoon blue. But they've also introduced Frosted Pearl, a soft creamy white, for something a bit more classic. (And perhaps perfect for a wedding registry?)
Crystal Blue is part of what KitchenAid is billing as their Catalina Collection, which includes older colors like Majestic Yellow, Tangerine, and Green Apple. Both Crystal Blue and Frosted Pearl will be available for $349.99 beginning in April 2012. The Frosted Pearl model comes with a 5-quart, clear glass bowl, while the Crystal Blue model includes a 5-quart stainless steel bowl.

Still glad I went for basic white.
I have that Crystal Blue mixer. I bought it on Amazon years ago at a huge discount since they were getting rid of the color. How fashion-forward/ backward am I.
It always makes me a little sad that they don't have the fun new colors in the bowl-lift models. I love my bowl lift.
Agreeing with the first comment, we always advise people who are newly outfitting their kitchen that the Kitchen Aid stand mixer will be around for a long, long time. Colors are 'fashion' and can quickly become tiresome, even hideous if the room decor and colors change. Keep it basic.
