We have a love-hate relationship with the small grocery store/bodega closest to our apartment. The produce section is bleak
, but there are some great Latin food products we love. The other day, we noticed these cilantro cubes – like bouillon cubes for herbs...Ok, we know these things run a very distant second to fresh cilantro, but we so rarely use an entire bunch that maybe it would be nice to have a shelf-stable version that could be used in increments?
In the edge of the photo, you can see that there is an onion (cebolla) version of the same product. We didn't buy either. But it's always fun to discover new ingredients you've never seen before.
Anyone out there use these cilantro cubes?
