All week long we've been inspired by artfully arranged open shelves and organized kitchen cabinets. Here's one more inspirational idea if you like to keep your kitchen goods behind closed doors: use a metal locker as a pantry!

This isn't the first time we've seen vintage lockers in the kitchen. Gregory showed off his locker wall cabinets in a House Call on Apartment Therapy a few years ago.

But using a freestanding floor locker is an easier way to get this look rather than having to hang cabinets on the wall. In the first photo, the metal shelves are swapped out for wood to make the cabinet a little less industrial, a little more homey.

What do you think? Would you ever use a vintage locker as a pantry in your kitchen?
