Food news from around the country, where pretty much everyone is talking about grilling...

In D.C. the Washington Times offers up grilling tips for vegetables, make-ahead cauliflower and cheese, and a recipe for smoky potato salad with chorizo.

In Ohio they're talking about campfire and cookout grilling, as well as perfect potato salad. They also have a good recipe for sweet and sour coleslaw and another for hot fudge spoon cake.

In Nebraska the Lincoln Journal-Star has Mushroom-Stuffed Pork Burgers, new upscale tonics for the drinks of the season, and tips on going organic on a budget.

The Boston Globe turns to bloggers for inspiration this week, with Heidi Swanson's ravioli pasta salad. They also have a chocolate peanut butter cake and the many, many ways to fry chicken.
