Nationwide Food Section Roundup: 03.08.07

Here's a taste of newspaper food sections around the country this week.

The San Franciso Chronicle mostly focuses on its yearly look at the hot new chefs to watch, but it also has a look at late winter greens and a Slow Food benefit in San Francisco.

In Ohio the Columbus Dispatch gives us polenta recipes and tips, fish fries for Lent, and old-fashioned hot dishes.

In Pennsylvania they have an interesting article and recipes for salt-crusted fish. They also celebrate the Year of the Pig with a recipe for Ragout with Pork Ribs, Sausage and Pancetta.

In Wisconsin the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has great comfort food, including Lemon-Glazed Rosemary-Lavender-Raisin Buns as a sweet treat for breakfast, and salads and sandwiches to replace soup as we move towards spring. They also have some good tips from Shirley Corriher for keeping foods moist as they cook.
