While I love the look of white kitchens, even I'm not immune to feeling a little white kitchen fatigue. That's why it was such a pleasure to see Nathan and Heather's vintage kitchen. The cabinets are all mid-century original, and in fabulous shape. It's common to paint over cabinets like these to tone down the vintage feel, but the wood fits better with the couple's style. ("Cozy vintage that evokes nostalgia and joy.")
Friends love the kitchen, the couple tells Apartment Therapy. Other details include a 1957 General Electric oven and stovetop, which was original to the apartment, and a vintage pull-down ceiling mount light fixture, found at a thrift store. Truly charming.

Martha Concrete Lam...

This is great! One of the best kitchens I've seen in a while.
I love this kitchen.
The only thing I'm not too fond of is the gingerbread house curvy woodwork above the sink.
Everything else is just great!
Nice! I love white kitchens too, but when you have good quality wood in a bright space, no need to mess around. The corner cabinet shown in the house is a nice touch also.
I also have an old stove--a Montgomery Ward (dating myself that I remember that store), and it is a workhorse.
Pink bathroom fans, get thee to this house tour!
Looks like my kitchen...still have the original 1949 cabinets. Very nice!
Very, cool kitchen. White appliances look great with wood cabinets ^_^
Wow, I love this kitchen. Super cute with a great feeling about it.
