You know that we go crazy for yellow kitchens. So we had to admire the rich, robust yellow of this little kitchen in Nate and Ila's recent house tour. We also love their pretty deconstructed chandelier, hanging in the passthrough between the living room and kitchen.
Nate and Ila live in Jamaica Plain, Boston, and their condo is a rich progression of deep colors, with this mustard-yellow kitchen at its heart. We think that such a vibrant color would make this little kitchen a wonderful place to cook, even in the deep dark of winter.
There are small details in this kitchen that also really give it character and life, like the green curtains in the kitchen (a $5 bargain find at Anthropologie) and the glam chandelier in the passthrough. We love the extra light that adds.
