What would you think about a living in a 1903 cabin situated on 80 acres? For Nancy and Ethan, it's "magical." The couple rent a 1,600-square-foot cabin in Carpinteria, California which retains many of its original features, now heightened by Nancy and Ethan's cozy, comfortable style. When asked about their biggest splurge, Nancy's answer revealed the couple's true passion:
"We splurge on cookware," she told Apartment Therapy in this House Tour. "I love to cook and Ethan loves to eat! Le Creuset and I have a certain understanding which no other cookware compares. I also can't say enough how amazing our Wedgewood Stove is...really."

WANT!
I just checked out the full tour. WOW!! I want to live there! And the ocean nearby? and in the middle of an orchard? Lucky lucky child to grow up there!
and the rest of the cabin....magnificent!
A magical kitchen, and magical cabin.
Beautiful - I love it all.
But the heavy pans over the doorway make me nervous. please be safe!!
When I saw the photo, I immediately recognized the Le Crueset skillets. I have several pieces myself and they ARE indeed good, grew up on a brown set that was Mom's. I now have her 5Qt Dutch oven in my cupboard.
I bought a vintage Elise Yellow set at an estate sale years ago that included 2 skillets, a small sauce pot w/ lid and the 5.5Qt oval Dutch oven for $25 and I doubt the Dutch oven had ever been used as the large "Le Creuset" sticker was still on the outside of it.
A nice vintage kitchen, though a bit too rustic for my taste, but I love what they did with it though.
