When it comes to fruity drinks, grapefruit always wins. Maybe it's the hint of bitter that rounds out the sweet? I certainly don't like too-sweet drinks; I avoid most soda, but I do crave the fizzy pop of something cold in the summertime. Here are my three favorite grapefruit drinks — none of them very sweet at all, but all super refreshing.

Note: I linked to Amazon for reference on each of these, just because it is the most easily accessible online outlet. But it almost goes without saying that pricing will quite likely be better at your local grocery store, so go by your local prices, not the ones listed here.

Perrier, the classiest of sparkling waters! I have always loved that iconic shape and brand, and this flavored water is a new favorite. I find it even more on the bitter side, which is refreshing — especially with a dash of bitters and a squeeze of lime.

LaCroix is a big favorite around here (did you read Anjali's funny post about how it's taking over the world?), and no flavor is more in favor in my house than the pamplemousse. In fact, buying this unsweetened and not-too-intensely flavored water is just an all-round good excuse to say pamplemousse.

This is my most recent love — the very lightly sweetened "grown-up" soda from GUS. The grapefruit is sweetened just enough to feel special, but not so much it leaves a film on your teeth (ew). It's amazingly refreshing served over ice with a sprig of mint.

We even made a delicious cocktail out of the Pamplemousse La Croix. Watch how it's made here:

What did I miss? Do you have another favorite fizzy grapefruit drink you love?
