I can definitely concur with the no-clay pot chicken, one of my favourite recipes from this site! I altered it a bit because of ingredients I had on hand, but my god it's good. I use brown basmati rice, and that way it remains more liquidy, like a fantastic soup. :)
I can verify that 1,2 and 3 are all great - I've made them multiple times this year, always with great nummy success.
