Good Product: Eden Mugwort Soba

Pin it button big

Soba are buckwheat noodles - a staple in Japanese cooking. They are quick and healthy, and usually vegan. This is our very favorite soba, made by Eden Foods with added mugwort herb.

Mugwort is an herb that has been used medicinally for hundreds of years. Here we like it for the flavor - it gives these noodles a deep nutty flavor and their green color. The rest of the ingredients include buckwheat and whole wheat flours and sea salt. The nutty flavor makes these great on their own, but we also really like them in coconut broth laced with lemongrass and turmeric. The noodles are available at Whole Foods, or online. $3.11 for 8.8 ounces at Eden Foods.
