If you love a warm, wood-toned kitchen, then Monique's minimal Austin kitchen will be just your style. It's compact, but lovely and functional, with dark wood cabinets, cement floors, and a great penny tile backsplash.
"I inherited most of my kitchen supplies during my seven-year stint in NYC," says Monique in this Apartment Therapy House Tour. "In this kitchen, my OCD works in my favor. With the open shelving concept, all my matching plates, glasses and mugs are the focal point. Since we’re also coffee fiends, a coffee making station was a must-have. For non-coffee drinkers, the vintage owl cookie jar houses all of our teas."
The cement floors take on a marbled appearance here!
