While bartenders might have some pet peeves about their patrons, we drinkers have some issues of our own, specifically with the more dogmatic practitioners of the new "mixology" movement, who can sometimes take their cocktails a bit too seriously. As an antidote, take a look at this hilarious new video from Fog and Smog, which sends up the hand-carved ice cubes, overbearing drink names and careful facial hair of this growing cocktail scene.
(Warning: the video has some NSFW language.)
The video is made by the production company Fog and Smog, who also made the funny "Whole Foods Parking Lot" video last year. I live in a metropolitan area with a large and diverse cocktail scene, and while I don't mind paying a little more for thoughtful, well-made cocktails, I still had to giggle at some of the clichés this video poked fun at. I'll be looking for the "Moist Yoga Mat" and "Chewbacca's Jacuzzi" on bar menus soon.

Seriously sick of St. Germain. Find something else.
This was scary how accurate it is even though they're joking!
And I'm with you, Judiau, no more st. germain or custom infused vodkas. They didn't joke about it here, but the one that I see everywhere now is "_____ scented air" which is really just a blop of flavored foam on top your drink. Take it down a notch, you're not Ton Cruise in Cocktail!
Lol, thank god Finally! I was so tired of seeing the term "mixologist" for a bartender.
