i love how the team comprises of wonderful, strong, intelligent women! x shayma
What a beautiful group of women! Thank y'all for all that you do, all that you cook, and all that you share! :)
It was a pleasure learning a bit about each of you. I especially enjoyed checking out everyone's favorite posts/blogs. Good stuff there. You've done an amazing job and I look forward to what's coming :)
BRAVO!
Why don't you have any men on your team? Are you making a statement? "Only women belong in the kitchn"?
@Brian M no - we initially had some stellar guys on the team, but they dropped out a couple years ago due to other commitments. We looked hard (affirmative action, even!) for some guys in our last search but only had a couple applications. It's a priority next time we hire! :)
Interesting. I had never really paid attention to who posted what but I guess that is why this site has felt more feminine since I began reading it several years ago - especially in the past year
go team!
Don't feel pressure to hire a man! Speaking as one, I love your content as is. Would a male perspective make a difference? I seriously doubt it. But if the best candidate happens to be male...? By all means, go for it.
By the way, I agree with misplacedtexan. What a beautiful group of women! It's hard not to notice this fact. (and I'm not given to noticing women all that much. ;-) )
Really? Not a single man could meet your standards? I'm all for female empowerment (and am usually the first to stand up and fight for it), but this does not sit well with me for a number of reasons.
Do you only hire beautiful women? ;)
