Mark's Spanish-style bungalow in northeast Los Angeles dates from the 1930s, and the style is cool and relaxed—"cabin mod," as he calls it. The kitchen is very simple and straightforward, but there are a few interesting details to note:
Mark keeps all his spices and cooking utensils at the ready right above the stove! I like the look, and it must certainly be convenient, although I wonder about keeping it clean. The other notable detail is the taut wire on the ceiling, which serves as a hanger for both pots and extra lighting. (Do you see the small LED spot light hanging down?)
All in all, it looks like a charming kitchen to cook in!
