Marina's cookie-cutter New York apartment wasn't much to look at when she moved in, but she wrangled her design savvy and managed to soften the space and create a cozy home. The biggest challenge, as she recently told Apartment Therapy, was luring her downtown friends to her uptown apartment, but having a full bar—which is on fine display in her kitchen— and some mixology skills definitely helped. Now she says the first thing her friends say when they walk in and see her kitchen is: "Sweet! Can you make me a drink?"

Martha Concrete Lam...

I've been looking for those square hermetic jars for like three years now! Someone, for the love of all that is holy, please tell me where to find them. Pleeeeaaaaaasssseee!
@Litnerd, have you tried a Cost Plus World Market? They have a lot of different jars like that... The stores typically have a wider selection but I found these on their website. ? Good luck!
How much and often do you need to drink hard alcohol to justify a bar setup out in the open like that? It looks cool, but that 2 year old bottle of burbon is gathering dust in my pantry so my lifestyle wouldn't justify it.
Is it the ironic moustache of the home decorating world?
Pre-pregnancy, this setup would totally have fit my lifestyle. Some of us are like that. I'm still restricted, since I breast feed, but I really do miss visiting my liquor cabinet.
